Editorial standards

Articles are reviewed by Bill Krieger, our Editor. Bill has logged over 200,000 miles towing fifth wheels and travel trailers across North America. He focuses on hitch setups, weight distribution, brake controllers, and the gear that prevents bad days on the highway.

We don't fabricate testing claims. When we say a product is worth picking, we say so on the basis of what's verifiable — owner reports, manufacturer specs, and independent reviews. Where consensus is split, we say that too.
